STUDENT SPONSORSHIP
Some companies and government departments sponsor students, sometimes with conditions attached: e. g. vacations must be spent working for the sponsor, or the student may be expected to work for the sponsor for a period after completing the course.
Sponsorship for part-time students
Most part-time courses involve attendance during the day and you should find out in advance if your employer is willing to sponsor you by paying fees and/ or allowing you to carry out project assignments at work. Sponsorship is strongly advised in the case of courses such as the Diploma in Management Studies.
Education Trust Funds and Charities
These give small supplementary grants for specific purposes such as fees, books and equipment. Details are available in most public reference libraries.
