'The Commonwealth Law College' (CLC) is a private college of further and higher education. We offer teaching an exclusive mix of courses in five main areas of study; Law, Business Studies, Accountancy and Computing including English as a foreign language.
CLC offers excellent teaching for University of London External Programme,in conjunction with many British Professional Institutes in Post-Graduate, Undergraduate, Diplomas and Certificates Courses.
British-qualified experienced members of staff in their respective fields head each specialization. Teachers are selected for their qualifications and practical experience thus enabling the College to offer good quality, classroom-based education. Classes are small enough to allow teachers to relate to students as individuals yet large enough to create a vibrant working environment.
Students are welcome from all over the world as well as from the UK, though specially, overseas students are encouraged to further add to the London’s rich and diverse student community.
The College is fortunate in being located just east of the hub of the City of London, the historical birthplace of London, comprising only one square mile but containing the commercial and legal headquarters of London. Further west, is Central London, long established as a cultural centre for the arts, sciences and music and only a fifteen-minute tube ride away. Historical places of interest such as the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, and Big Ben are within easy reach too.
On a social front, students can sample the delights of London’s famous West End, crammed with cinemas, theatres and department stores, all reachable by tube and bus.
Transport links from the College are excellent, with Whitechapel and Aldgate East tube stations within two minutes walking distance. Liverpool Street Railway station is merely five minutes walk away whilst bus services stop outside the College, taking you into Central London.
Facilities at CLC include a modern computer laboratory, complete with internet access, specified study areas and a recreational area where hot and cold refreshments are available. Furthermore, a wide array of international foods is readily available in the locality of the College, such as in Brick Lane, which is renowned for its South Asian cuisine.
CLC has its own library where students can borrow books to supplement their studies though the larger Whitechapel Library is near by. Students can also gain membership to a consortium of other libraries too.
Our staff are available to help students with problems that arise during their studies. We aim to build strong relationships with and between our students to encourage and maintain a pleasant ambiance. An open-door policy enables students to approach staff whenever academic, welfare or personal assistance is needed.
In keeping with the expansion of The Commonwealth Law College, we are committed to opening further branches. Already we have infomration desks in South east asia, Bangladesh in Dhaka & New Delhi, India.
The College has 3 Campuses, all within a few minutes from each other.
