Human Resource Management

Introduction

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) offers a range of qualifications in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Travel Tourism and Hospitality and Human Resource Management for students in over 70 countries.

About ABE Qualification
ABE offers high-quality programs at three levels – Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma. On completion of each level, students are qualified to enter the employment market, or progress to the next level should they wish.

The Certificate has four units and is suitable for those who have completed their elementary schooling or for those who are already working and now wish to gain a further qualification. There are no formal entry requirements apart from competence in English Language.

The Diploma has nine units and is suitable for those who have achieved the ABE Certificate, or GCE A levels, or equivalent. Alternatively, those with two years’ relevant work experience and a supporting letter from their employer can enrol.

The Advanced Diploma has five units and is suitable for those who have achieved the ABE Diploma, or a first degree, or equivalent.

Entry Requirements: Certificate does not need any previous qualification but entrants should be competent in English and mathematics up to GCSE level (NQF level 2)

Our new Human Resource Management program is a professional QCA accredited qualification which reflects the growing importance that organizations attach to this function. At present demand for trained and qualified HR professionals is outstripping supply.

Students who complete our HRM program will have the opportunity to advance to the final stages of a degree and will find their skills fit for a professional setting.

Entry requirements: No previous qualifications are needed to enter the certificate but entrants should be competent in English and mathematics up to GCSE level (NQF level 2).

Diploma Part 1

Entry requirements : To enter the Diploma you mush have completed the ABE Certificate (in any program) or have two GCE A- Levels and four GCSEs at Grade C or above, or  possess a BTEC National award or equivalent NQF level 3 qualification. Students with at least two years work experience can also apply, even with any of the above qualifications.

Teaching Methods: A mixture of lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops are used. There are group based assessment activities as well as more traditional reports, essays and examinations. Guest speakers and educational visits will add variety and interest to the course.
