Business Studies HND (Edexcel)

What's the course about? This course is for students who want to develop their existing skills and knowledge in the area of business, or who want to achieve a higher level qualification in business-related subjects. Students will study the HNC Fast Track plus additional top-up units to convert the HNC into a HND. Successful completion of all 16 units leads to the award of a HND in the chosen pathway.

• Organisations and behaviour
• Business environment
• Business decision making
• Common Law I
• Research project
• Business strategy

Plus EIGHT subjects from

ONE of the following pathways:
• Business
• Human resource management
• Marketing
• Finance
• Management Students must also develop competence in a range of business-related skills. Pathways are offered subject to demand.

How long is the course and when will it be taught? This is a full-time course running for two years and you will study full time for three days per week.

What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?
You should have one of the following:
• AVCE or equivalent qualification
• A Level
• Appropriate work experience

Which qualifications will I be awarded if I successfully complete the course?
You will be awarded one of the four following qualifications, depending on the pathway studied:
• HND Business and Personnel
• HND Business and Finance
• HND Business and Marketing
• HND Business and Management
